      <description><![CDATA[For most of the year, the A5, the A28, the A7 and the A3 are simply roads. Farm tractors use them. Mothers drive their children to school along them. Pedestrians walk dogs beside their hedgerows. Then, in a few specific weeks each year, an Act of Tynwald closes 4.25 miles of these public roads to ordinary traffic, and they become a motorcycle racing circuit instead - the Billown Circuit, where the fastest road racers in the world thread their machines between stone walls at speeds that would be illegal anywhere in Britain.]]></description>
