Established in 1982, the Boucle du Baoulé National Park anchors one of the largest protected complexes in the country, a mosaic of desert margins, thorn scrub, and riverine forest where the Sahara's southern edge meets the Sudanian grasslands. This is not a park of teeming herds and easy spectacle. Its treasures are quieter and far older.]]></description>
