He said a local chief had led him by camel through the night, blindfolded, to the base of an enormous mass of iron rising from the sand - a metal hill, he insisted, roughly a hundred meters long. He pried his small specimen from its flank. Then his guide died, the location was lost, and for more than a century no one has ever found the iron mountain again.]]></description>
