Brian Rua U'Cearbhain spoke visions of the future that locals would still be repeating four centuries later: predictions about railways, about black-bellied bees, about strangers from distant lands. His birthplace sits on the shore of Broadhaven Bay, in a Gaeltacht village of 114 people where Irish remains the daily language and the castle that gives the area its texture has been a ruin for centuries.]]></description>
