The municipality's entire population is about 23,000. Nothing else in the Finnish calendar quite matches that ratio — a town on the Kokemäenjoki, an hour west of Tampere by train, filling its centre with antiquarian dealers, auctioneers, publishers and readers who have driven a long way for the specific pleasure of handling paper somebody else already owned.]]></description>
